EuroCIS, The Leading Trade Fair for Retail Technology, from February 15 to 17, 2022 in Halls 9 and 10 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center, is the international communicator for innovations and trend topics, especially for technology in retail. In 2022, the hot topics are:

Trade visitors from retail and wholesale, the consumer goods, IT and security industries, online retail, system and experience gastronomy, as well as financial services and banks will meet international providers of highly specialized developments and solutions, including from the following areas: Omnichannel Management, Business Analytics/Big Data, Payment Systems, IoT (Internet-of-Things), E-Commerce-/E-Business Solutions, ERP/Supply Chain Management, Mobile Solutions & Technologies, Checkout Management, Digital Marketing/Digital Signage Robotics, Workforce Management and Weighing Technologies. In 2022, trade visitors will again have the opportunity to take part in guided, 90-minute Guided Innovation Tours in the exhibition halls (D/GB). The number of participants is limited, registrations will be possible from October 2021 on www.eurocis.com .
Start-ups are young, creative, flexible, future-oriented and are characterized in particular by innovative solutions to problems. With the start-up hub, EuroCIS offers newcomers who are specifically dedicated to the development of state-of-the-art IT systems and solutions in retail their own presentation area.
Top-class supporting program
The highlight of the supporting program at EuroCIS 2022 will be the presentation of the coveted retail technology awards europe (reta europe) by the EHI Retail Institute. Awards will be presented for the excellent and innovative use of information technology in retail. In addition, the EHI and GS1 Science Award for Retail will be presented during EuroCIS. The award is given for outstanding scientific work that takes up innovative ideas and allows transferability to retail.
EuroCIS Digital Extension
Digital Extension is the virtual world of the hybrid EuroCIS, where all members of the EuroCIS community connect: from live streaming of the Stages, product videos and whitepapers to web sessions and new networking.
The Stages at EuroCIS are hotspots for trends and innovations - not only in the exhibition halls, but now also online! For the first time at EuroCIS 2022, the presentations of the Stages will also be offered on the Internet as live streams, and they can also be accessed as videos on demand after the trade fair. Both the Technology Stage and the Connected Retail Stage in the middle of the trade fair will offer retailers direct practical relevance with current case studies presented jointly by exhibitors and their customers (bilingual D/GB).
With the new Online Profile service, the physical trade show booths are extended into the Internet and make the brand world of our exhibitors a virtual experience as well. And that goes beyond the live event! Here you can find comprehensive online presentations of the exhibiting companies, enriched e.g. with product videos, presentations, manuals and white papers, web sessions, events, demos and news of the exhibitors.
Trade show becomes a medium - EuroCIS 365
EuroCIS 365 stands for the comprehensive range of services available to the EuroCIS community to connect digitally. "Nowadays, the trade fair is becoming a medium, so it is only logical to supplement the offer with digital, services. Direct contact and on-site experiences are essential, but it is equally important to use digital formats with all their possibilities, even beyond the live event," explains Elke Moebius, Project Director Retail & Retail Technology at Messe Düsseldorf. While the community can exploit the enormous potential for industry connections via the EuroCIS social media channels and always receive the latest information from the international industry through the EuroCIS Newsletter and EuroCIS.mag, the industry-specific webtalks of the "Retail Salsa" serve not only for interactive exchange but also for efficient lead generation - all 365 days a year.

The Retail Salsa has already been successfully launched at the end of 2020. Messe Düsseldorf ensures the safety of trade fair visitors by means of a comprehensive hygiene and infection protection concept for events at the Düsseldorf site, which has already proven its worth during several trade fairs and is constantly being adapted to current conditions. For example, the best possible protection for all trade fair participants is ensured by a “3-G check” at the entrance (tested, vaccinated or recovered), the high-function ventilation systems in the trade fair halls, a spacious hall design, targeted routing, distance markings and mandatory masks (FFP2 or KN95/N95 masks) in all halls and rooms.
