Citizen Systems presents innovative label printing solution for the retail sector at EuroCIS

Citizen Systems Europe , leading manufacturer of professional label, POS, handheld and photo printers, is presenting a highlight at this year's EuroCIS: in addition to its tried-and-tested POS printers, the company is presenting a new product specially developed for the retail sector – the CL-S700III industrial label printer, which is being used for the first time to produce customized solutions for eyewear labelling.

The focus is on printing on ring wrap labels that can be wrapped around spectacle temples and printed on both sides. This space-saving innovation enables efficient and professional product labelling that can be produced individually for each eyewear model. The innovative solution is made possible in collaboration with DENSO WAVE : High-precision scanners form DENSO WAVE are used to capture a QR code, on the basis of which the label is printed in a special format. The QR codes can be flexibly designed - whether with an image, logo or customized design - and thus offer an outstanding opportunity to stand out visually. As the printer is able to print larger labels and a customized layout, this also ensures optimum visibility and usability in the retail sector.

With the CL-S700III's standalone forms, labels can be printed directly without a PC or network. Users design their label formats, including variable data such as DENSO'S rMQR code, using their favourite software and store these formats on the CL-S700III printer. This saves space, avoids cable clutter and ensures smooth integration into a wide range of working environments. As the printer is able to print larger labels and a customized layout such as ring wrap labels, this also ensures optimal usability in the retail sector.

The CL-S700III label printer used for the application impresses with its user-friendliness, flexibility and innovative features. With an LCD touch color display, intuitive shortcuts and a setup wizard, the CL-S700III takes user-friendliness to a new level. Thanks to its high printing speed of up to 300 mm per second and support for variable data formats such as rMQR codes, large quantities of specialty and shipping labels can be produced in a short space of time.

The CL-S700III also offers flexible connection options with USB, LAN and optional Wi-Fi as well as a wide range of model variants for different requirements. With print speeds of up to 300 mm per second and a resolution of 203 or 300 dpi, the series fulfils even the most demanding requirements in manufacturing, logistics and retail.
