SATO EUROPE LEADS THE WAY IN SUSTAINABILITY WITH THE NEW EUROPEAN CONSUMABLES PROGRAM

In today's rapidly evolving business landscape, SATO Europe is dedicated to creating meaningful change through its labelling solutions. We are proud to unveil the Sustainable European Consumables Programme (ECP), a significant advancement in our commitment to environmental sustainability. 

A Commitment to Sustainability 
Sustainability is a core responsibility for SATO Europe. The new ECP aims to reduce carbon emissions by 15-20% and to minimise water and energy consumption during the production process. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to lead the industry in sustainable practices, extending beyond labelling to overall operational efficiency. 
Laurent Lassus, SATO's Head of Europe, emphasised the importance of this new programme: "Transitioning to 100% recycled paper is in perfect alignment with our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our initiatives are guided by ethical considerations for the planet and future generations."

SATO offers Direct Thermal Labels, Thermal Transfer Labels & Synthetic Film Labels that are specially manufactured to complement the features of SATO printers, as well as a portfolio of self-adhesive labels for a wide range of market applications.
