What is machine-to-machine?

By using a GPRS terminal to connect technical systems, information about the operating status of your technical devices and equipment are transported to a central location via mobile telephony.

We can safeguard the security of your data through DB's own APN, thus making it possible to establish a secure connection to the grid from each GPRS terminal. By assigning static IP addresses, the modules can be accessed via the network. The central server and operator also receive IP network access and can therefore access the information in this way.

Maintenance technicians can be connected via mobile telephony, thus making it possible for them to initially analyze and diagnose malfunctions remotely. Mobile connections, monitoring and the service itself are central components of our M2M solution so that it can anticipate the need to maintain your technical infrastructure.
