RetailerIN in-store intelligence for supermarkets

RetailerIN® is an in-store intelligence solution for hyper/supermarkets. Starting from the high-precision tracking of shopping carts, baskets or smartphones (provided with a dedicated mobile application), RetailerIN maps the full customer journey , from the moment the customer enters the store to check-out, making the physical store as measurable as an e-commerce.

RetailerIN® provides support for strategic and operational decision-making both at the chain and at the store level in terms of i) store layout, category management and merchandising decisions, ii) in-store marketing and iii) queue management.

RetailerIN® services include:
  • Path analytics: RetailerIN maps with great location accuracy over 95% of in-store shopping sessions, from the moment the customer enters the store to the checkout. This allows the retailer to analytically segment the customer base, define recurring routes and the engagement time with the different areas of the store such as departments, aisles, end-caps and promotional areas.
  • Conversion analytics (POS integration): RetailerIN® is able to connect the customer journey with the corresponding receipt and products purchased. Thanks to this, it is possible to jointly analyse traffic and sales data and measure the funnel for each category or product.
  • Queue management: RetailerIN® provides store operational support, thanks to its real-time queue monitoring service. RetailerIN® allows to set thresholds of people queueing and, based on these, trigger notifications and suggestions to open new checkouts, on smartwatches, mobile devices and internal management systems. Besides real-time management, the solution also delivers historical analysis on the number of customers in line and on waiting times.
  • In-store marketing services: Thanks to the integration of RetailerIN® with a dedicated mobile app, such as the one of the store, it is possible to locate the customer with high precision in order to convey geo-localised contents and services directly on the smartphone, in order to make the in-store experience interactive and personalised.
